Release: Monday 28th November / LOVE DOSE

Daniel Abram from Love Dose Records remarks “Kerouac has quickly become a favourite of the Love Dose team and has started to turn a lot of heads. We are blessed to have the opportunity to release these incredible tracks and help Kerouac develop his career.”

Cellar Door opens with a grooving kick and cowbell combination quickly followed by a hypnotic, melodic bass line that instantly draws in. Subtle and spacial percussion guide you through this dark melodic track, dripping arps melt away into a beautiful pulsating, stabbing organ progression and on into the night.

Compulsion gets straight to the point with a bouncing kick and dark, driving synth top line. The bass line is calming, melodic and provides the perfect underbelly for the analogue synth that forms, creates a life of its own and leads the track into a wild hypnotic journey.

How Rude shows another side Kerouac’s creative mind. An old school house percussion and bass rhythm slowly wash into a subtle string arrangement. This is a positive, upbeat side to Kerouac that subtly changes mood when the dark spoken word section builds to a big peak and driving rhythm.
